Nominations to the Board of the International Committee for Documentation (CIDOC) for the period 2010-2013
The term of the current CIDOC board is expiring at the time of the ICOM General Conference in November this year a new board has to be elected. Our long-standing member Andrew Roberts kindly agreed to organise the election.
If you are interested in standing for the new board please get in contact with Andrew Roberts directly.
Each nomination will be acknowledged by email. Details of the candidates will be circulated after the closing date for nominations of 30 July 2010.

The 2010 conference
The CIDOC2010 conference will be held as part of the triennial ICOM General Conference in Shanghai, China which lasts from November 7th to November 12th 2010. See http://icom.museum/general-conference2010.html for general information.
2009 Conference
In 2009 CIDOC met in Santiago, Chile. The Conference theme was "Documentation in the XXI Century: Connecting Cultural Heritage Information".

CIDOC CRM accepted as ISO 21127
The CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CRM) has been formally issued as an ISO-Standard September 12, 2006. It is available in printed form (108p., 200 CHF) or as a PDF download (200 CHF) from the ISO website www.iso.ch. The CIDOC CRM continues to be maintained both by ISO/TC 46/SC4/WG4 and by the CIDOC CRM Special Interest Group (SIG) of CIDOC. Updated versions will be issued at regular intervals.
