CIDOC 2009 Conference

Documentation in the XXI Century: connecting cultural heritage information

The CIDOC 2009 meeting took place on September 27th - October 1st 2009 inSantiago de Chile, Chile, South America. The venue was Centro Patrimonial Recoleta Domínica. The local organiser was  Centro de Documentación de Bienes Patrimoniales, Subdirección de Museos, Archivos y Bibliotecas, Dirección de Bibliotecas, Archivos y Museos

There were two worskhops on Sunday 27th September, and the main conference ran from Monday 28th September to Wednesday 30th September with  a post conference excursion on Thursday 1st October.

The conference was supported by a generous grant from the Getty Foundation to support participation from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Pacifics and Latin-America. Participants from more than 40 countries attended the conference.
