Web Archive 2005

This is the archive of the CIDOC Web presence in December 2005. It shows site and page content captured as part of the migration to the Cocoon website designed by Richard Light in 2005. The capture process was performed by Stephen Stead using Microsoft FrontPage and subsequent manual transfer into the Cocoon framework. Much of the content was also loaded into the "live" part of the Cocoon site to act as the seed for subsequent editing.

No attempt was made to preserve the "look and feel" or navigational elements of the original site, just the content. That the site was available for this harvesting and reuse is a tribute to Leonard Will, who had continued the thankless task of site maintenance during the long and arduous Cocoon development process.
